Nicole BorkgrenNicole Borkgren is a licensed Real Estate agent who was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley. As a child, she spent many summers with her family in Guadalajara, Mexico, where she became bilingual in Spanish — fluent in speaking, reading, and writing.

Nicole has her BA in Child Development from California State University Northridge and her Master’s in Social Work from California State University Long Beach. During the six years she went to college, Nicole worked in the Real Estate industry as an assistant to a Top-4 agent in the United States for BERKSHIRE HATHAWAY HomeServices California Properties in charge of his marketing, as well as working in the Title Insurance industry in marketing. Upon getting her Master’s degree, Nicole worked with autistic children in the Social Services field with Los Angeles Unified School District, as well as holding positions with the Department of Children and Family Services in adoptions. Throughout this period, Nicole also remained a part the Real Estate industry, working with agents marketing their listings with her own company, Market Your Listing. Here, she designed an 8-step program to get listings the most exposure based on market research from organizations like National Association of Realtors and California Association of Realtors.

Nicole has also assisted her husband, who is a Vice President of a Title Insurance company, with the marketing of himself and his company. In addition, she has purchased many homes as investments and rehabbed them as an investor. She has a keen “eye” for this type of investment.

Nicole is a mother of two amazing children and is very active in her community with her children and philanthropic interests.

Nicole’s experience showing Realtors how to market, and actually marketing Realtors’ listings, is an incredible advantage to her clients. Her education and experience in counseling comes into play even more than her business experience, as we all know how stressful selling and buying real estate can be.
